These handcrafted crunchy snacks are rich in protein, low in fat, and contain antioxidants. Our farm-to-market approach means that CrunCheese treats are ethically sourced from local farmers in Nepal, where they are smoke-dried to perfection for months, then gently heated to become delicate crunchy treats. The puffy and airy texture makes CrunCheese an excellent training or indulgent treat for dogs of all sizes and life stages.

How we started Yak9Chews
Before 2015
We were the customers first — and we were fed up.
Fed up watching our dogs shred every "tough" toy in minutes. Fed up with splintering rawhide, chews full of fillers and dyes, and the panic of catching our dog swallowing a chunk of plastic.
Every chew was either gone in a day, or an emergency-vet trip waiting to happen.

What we wanted didn't exist, so we went and found it.
Clean, safe, long-lasting, and single-ingredient. Our search took us to the Himalayan region of Nepal, partnering directly with local dairy farmers to source authentic yak milk chews.

Today
Our dogs went wild for it, so we brought it home.
We became the first to do it right. Nine years later, our mission remains unchanged: 100% natural ingredients, handcrafted Himalayan cheese, and happy, healthy dogs.
